My name is Ēriks Ralfs Vanags, I am a student at the Department of Political Science at the University of Latvia, and I am currently writing my bachelor's thesis "Risk Mitigation and Algorithmic Personalisation: Political Content on YouTube under the European Digital Services Act". The thesis requires a careful collection of people's opinions and views, and your participation in this survey is essential to it.

The purpose of the study is to understand how the YouTube algorithmic recommendation system interacts with the political views and social environment of its users.

Survey length: approximately 10–12 minutes.
Anonymity: responses are collected entirely anonymously. No name, email, IP address, or other identifying information is collected. Collected data will be used solely for academic research purposes in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
